Stanley Park: Vancouver has more than 200 diverse parks, but Vancouver's most famous park is Stanley Park. It is one of the largest urban parks in the world, with 150 year old forest, 8.85 km of seawall, and many popular attractions. Stanley’s park is 1000 acres of rain forest, beaches, trails, gardens and fun. It is one of the Vancouver's true historic landmarks.

On Your way through the Stanley park You can stop at Totem Park where you can see the totem poles and at Prospect Point, a great viewpoint for the Lions Gate Bridge, the Burrard Inlet and the North Shore Mountains.  Stanley Park seawall, one of the most popular places in Vancouver to walk, ride a bike or rollerblade.

English Bay: This beach, located in the trendy West End is famous for its sunsets.

Gastown: Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, famous for its cobblestone streets, steam clock, and quaint shops. Gastown was Vancouver's original downtown core and is named after "Gassy" Jack Deighton, a British seaman steamboat captain and barkeep who arrived in 1867.

Granville Island: Once an industrial area, Granville Island was redeveloped in the 1970s and the result is a Mecca for tourists and locals as well. Walk through the waterfront public market, kids market, marina, art studios and galleries and many specialty shops.

Canada Place is home to the cruise ship terminal, the Vancouver convention centre and the IMAX theatre.

Vancouver Public Library is an architectural masterpiece.

Robson Street: Robson Street is Vancouver's most famous shopping street. Check out its upscale clothing and shoe stores, excellent restaurants, gift and souvenir shops.

The Lookout: 167m (553 feet) above Vancouver at the top of the Harbour Centre Skyscraper.
